About the studio
Two people,
one lens.
Lumen was founded in 2014 by photographer Aria Vale and producer Sam Okafor. We started in a converted garage with one light and a borrowed backdrop. Today we photograph weddings, brands and portraits across Ontario and beyond, but the promise hasn’t changed: slow down, find the light, tell the truth.
